RITA CUTTER

District Coordinator, SWCD - Rita serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors. In her position she serves as Receptionist, Bookkeeper, Financial Manager, Secretary, and Office manager.
Rita is a lifelong resident of Dearborn County and has served as the District Coordinator since Oct. 17, 1988.

JENNIFER HUGHES

Storm Water Coordinator, SWCD - Jennifer provides stormwater pollution prevention technical assistance for urban lands. She reviews and inspects the Rule 5 projects in Dearborn County and provides training opportunities to local officials and the development community. She is also the coordinator for Rule 13 which covers Hidden Valley Lake.
Jennifer received her B.S. in Agriculture from Wilmington College in 1999 and joined the SWCD in August 2001.

VICKIE SMITH

Environmental Technician/Educator, SWCD - Vickie provides conservation planning and technical assistance for agricultural lands. She is also responsible for providing education for the adults and children of Dearborn County.
Vickie worked for Ripley County SWCD as a technician for two years. She joined the SWCD in November of 2003.

KRIS VANCE

Tanner's Creek and Hogan Creek Watershed Coordinator, SWCD - Kris' duties include implementing the Best Management Plan for the Tanners Creek Watershed she coordinated writing through the years of 2001-2003. Kris will be coordinating a cost-share program for conservation practices in the Tanner's and Hogan Creek Watershed. She is also responsible for organizing both adult and youth educational programs, creating public awareness tools, writing press releases, and grant writing.
Kris is a 1999 graduate from Indiana University, Bloomington, where she received a B.S. in Environmental Science and Management. She was hired as the Tanners Creek Watershed Coordinator in February of 2001.

KEN LANE

District Conservationist, USDA/NRCS - Ken provides guidance to the Conservation Team and technical assistance to land owners. Ken recieved his B.S. degree in Natural Resources from Ball State University. Ken worked as an Environmental Industrial Hygienist prior to becoming a District Conservationist for NRCS in 2001. He and his wife Judy reside in Madison, Indiana.

DOUG DAGGY

Soil Conservationist, USDA/NRCS - Doug has been with the agency for 35 years. He assists landowners with their conservation planning and implementation of practices. Doug is a long time resident of the Versailles area.
