MISSION STATEMENT:
Dearborn County Soil & Water Conservation District is committed to promoting natural resource conservation through education, available technology, technical assistance and partnership with other entities, with an understanding of our past and an eye toward the future.

At the Dearborn County Soil and Water Office, our staff consists of NRCS District Conservationist, District Technician, Watershed Coordinator, Storm Water Coordinator, and Office Administrator.
In 2005, three employees from the District received State awards at the Annual Conference. In 2004, one employee from the District received a State award at the Annual conference.

Great Plains drill, Brillion Seeder and straw blower for rent. The Great Plains drill has three boxes for planting: small seed, warm season grasses, and larger seed.
The Tanners Creek watershed flows over more than 68,000 acres. The headwaters begin at the southcentral section of Franklin County and flow approximately 20 miles until it reaches its confluence with the Ohio River.
