We have two pieces of equipment available for the public to
help with conservation efforts in Dearborn and surrounding counties. This equipment
can be rented by calling the below contact numbers or by calling Dearborn County
SWCD office at 812-926-2406 ext. 3

Straw Blower
Fits in the back of your pickup truck. Available through Dearborn County
Soil and Water Conservation District for $100 a day with a deposit (deposit
returned after return of straw blower)

Warm Season No-Till Drill
A 7 foot drill available for $8.00 an acre or a $50.00 minimum.
Drill has 3 different boxes: Cool-Season Grass, Warm Season Grasses
and Legumes (can also be used for small grains - soybeans & wheat)
Requirements:
Tractor with minumum of 50 hp
Tractor with 2 way hydraulics
Drill must be level during operation
Loc-out hub disengaged during transportation
